On arrival at Trivandrum our representative will pick you up and take you for the city tour of Trivandrum- the capital city of Kerala and the town of Lord Anantha. Enroute visit Sri Padmanabhapuram Palace, once the capital of Thiruvananthapuram during 1600 to 1790. Constructed with wood and stone in Kerala’s indigenous style of architecture also visit Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace & Museum.
After the city tour of Trivandrum proceed for excursion to Kanyakumari.Kanyakumari, literally means the virgin, the cape owes its Indian name to Hindu mythology and also the Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet.Reach and check in to hotel. Later enjoy the mesmerizing beautiful Sun Set from the Sun Set point later proceed for Visiting some historical places like Wax Museum & Devi Temple. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 2 : KANYAKUMARI SIGHTSEEING & PROCEED TO RAMESHWARAM & STAY
Early morning visit the sunset point have the scenic beauty of most beautiful Sunrise in India. later after having breakfast enjoy the boating to Vivekananda Rock Memorial (own cost), Later proceed to Rameswaram. Rameswaram. :-A small Island in the Gulf of Mannar and a major pilgrim spot. It is a religious destination and located at 163kms from Madurai. Located on Pamban Island at the tip of the Indian Peninsula. The city was ruled by various South Indian dynasties. Rameswaram is the closest point to reach Srilanka. Dhanush kodi is a town which was abandoned in the past, at the Southern tip. The town was destroyed by a cyclone and is still uninhabited.Reach by evening and check in to hotel. Evening visit Temple and offer prayers. Back to hotel & Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 3 : RAMESHWARAM SIGHTSEEING AND STAY
After a hearty breakfast from Rameshwaram hotel proceed for Rameshwaram Sightseeing.. In the Hindu mythology Rameshwaram is considered a sacred place for the Hindus. Legends have it that Lord Rama built a bridge across the sea, from Rameshwaram, to rescue his consort Sita, from the clutches of the demon king, Ravana. Rameshwaram is known as the Varanasi of south India. Visit the historic places such as, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi and Pamban Bridge. Dhanushkodi is an abandoned town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It is situated to the South-East of Pamban and is about 18 miles (29 km) west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameshwaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath! Return to Hotel and overnight stay at Rameshwaram.
Day 4 : MADURAI SIGHTSEEING AND DROP
Check out from the Rameshwaram hotel after a hearty breakfast and proceed to Madurai.
Madurai - Highly significant with its cultural and historical background, the city has tourist attractions in plenty, the most prominent among them being The Meenakshi Temple with its towering Gopurams and rare sculptures. The prominent and famous places to Visit in Madurai is Meenakshi Amman temple & City Center after the sightseeing you will be droped at Airport/Railway Station
