Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL COCHIN AND STAY

After arriving at Cochin airport (Assistance on arrival) Cochin, the commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Cochin in Ernakulam is also known as “Queen of Arabian Sea” is one of the finest natural harbors in the World. This was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, and Dutch etc. Later check into hotel and  go for local sightseeing of Cochin where you can visit Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattanchery, Sata Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Dutch Palace, Jew Street, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church, Marine Drive.  Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : COCHIN TO MUNNAR VIA ATHIRAPALLY WATERFALLS

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Munnar. En route Munnar Visit Athirappilly Waterfalls, which is one of the best places to visit in Kerala. Athirappilly Falls is a famous waterfall in Kerala, a part of Chalakudy River and it is approximately 80 feet in height. Its white spray of water appears almost magical from the rocky road that swerves around the mountain! Spend precious time at waterfall and later proceed to MunnarEnroute to Munnar visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own also you will be later taken to visit Tata Tea Museum & The Blossom Garden. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.  

Day 3 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar

Day 4 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

Proceed to Thekkady in the morning after the breakfast; Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5 : THEKADY TO RAMESWARAM VIA MADURAI

Check out from the hotel after a hearty breakfast and proceed to Madurai. Proceed for local tour of Madurai. Madurai:-Highly significant with its cultural and historical background, the city has tourist attractions in plenty, the most prominent among them being The Meenakshi Temple with its towering gopurams and rare sculptures.  Visit Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple & City Center . After Madurai Sightseeing proceed to Rameswaram. Reach and check in to hotel and Overnight stay at Rameswaram.  

Day 6 : RAMESWARAM SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After a hearty breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for Rameswaram. Check in to hotel and later proceed for  sightseeing. In the Hindu mythology Rameshwaram is considered a sacred place for the Hindus. Legends have it that Lord Rama built a bridge across the sea, from Rameshwaram, to rescue his consort Sita, from the clutches of the demon king, Ravana. Rameshwaram is known as the Varanasi of south India. Visit the historic places such as, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi and Pamban Bridge. Dhanushkodi is an abandoned town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It is situated to the South-East of Pamban and is about 18 miles (29 km) west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath! Return to Hotel by evening, enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at Rameswaram.

Day 7 : KANYAKUMARI SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari, literally means the virgin, the cape owes its Indian name to Hindu mythology. Arrive at Kanyakumari and proceed for a sightseeing tour. At the Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. Significant landmarks include the Kumari Amman Temple dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial where an urn containing the Mahatma's ashes are kept, the Vivekananda Memorial - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari after a hearty Dinner.  

Day 8 : KANYAKUMARI TO KOVALAM AFTER TRIVANDRUM SIGHTSEEING

Morning watch Sunrise and after a hearty breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kovalam. En route complete Trivandrum City Tour! Thiruvananthapuram , also known by its former name Trivandrum, is the capital of of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala & located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. Thiruvananthapuram is also a major Information Technology hub in Kerala. The city has referred by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India". Visit Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, the famous Lord Vishnu Temple, Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace & Museum. After Trivandrum city tour proceed to Kovalam. Reach and check in to hotel and relax for a while. Later go to beach and realx. Overnight stay at Kovalam after a delicious Dinner.

Day 9 : ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT STAY

Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East.  Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region.  The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc..Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.  

Day 10 : ALLAPPEY TO COCHIN AND DEPART

Morning around 9AM check out from Houseboat and proceed to Cochin. Will drop at railway/airport on. If time permits will take you to Lullu Mall for shopping. Board your flight/train back home with sweet memories of your holidays in Kerala & Tamilnadu! Tour Ends!
