Itinerary Detailes
Day 1 : COCHIN ARRIVAL AND MUNNAR STAY
After reaching Cochin airport/railway station our representative will greet you and proceed to Munnar. Enroute visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own also you will be later taken to visit Tata Tea Museum & The Blossom Garden. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.
Day 2 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING & STAY
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar. Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar
Day 3 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 4 : LUXUARY ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT STAY
Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East. Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region. The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc.. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 5 : ALLAPPEY TO POOVAR VIA JATAYU NATURE PARK & TRIVANDRUM CITY
After a hearty breakfast from Allappey Houseboat check out proceed to Poovar Island. Enroute visit Jatayu Nature Park. Jatayu Park”, Kerala's Latest Tourist Addiction! Jatayu Earth Centre gets its importance from the mythical bird Jatayu, in the epic Ramayana. This is the biggest bird sculpture in the world and situated at a height of 1000feet and spread around 65 acres. Adventure activities, cable cars and cultural programs add colour to this magnificent tourism spot. If you wish you can also enjoy 15 + exciting adventure activities at Jatayu Adventure Zone like Rock Climbing, Side Jhoola, Archery, Shooting, Cammando Net, Zip Lane etc (Own Cost). Day 6 : KOVALAM SIGHTSEEING AND POOVAR STAY
After a hearty breakfast proceed for Kovalam sightseeing Enroute have the Poovar Island sightseeing also Poovar is a small coastal, fisherman village about 60Km from Kanyakumari and 20 Km from Kovalam. This is a beautiful island which is surrounded by River called Neyyar. During heavy monsoon the river carry sand and mud and an Estuary is formed which become the present form of Poovar. The river, which ends it flow at Arabian Sea, become wider and it appears to be a lake! Reach Poovar and enjoy boating in the beautiful Poovar Lake (own Cost). It is one the most exciting activity you can enjoy in Kerala.
