Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL COCHIN AND STAY

On arrival to Cochin Airport our representative will greet you and pick you up & transfer to Hotel. Relax for some time and evening visit the beautiful Marine Drive and some shopping centers. Back to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2 : COCHIN SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

Today after breakfast we will take you for the complete tour of Cochin. Cochin, the commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Cochin in Ernakulam is also known as “Queen of Arabian Sea” is one of the finest natural harbors in the World. This was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, and Dutch etc. Later check into hotel and  go for local sightseeing of Cochin where you can visit Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattanchery, Sata Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Dutch Palace, Jew Street, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church, Marine Drive.  Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.  

Day 3 : COCHIN TO MUNNAR VIA ATHIRAPALLY WATERFALLS

After having delightfull breakfast from Cochin hotel check out and Proceed to Munnar. En routet to Munnar Visit Athirappilly Waterfalls, Athirappilly Waterfalls-which is one of the best places to visit in Kerala. Athirappilly Falls is a famous waterfall in Kerala, a part of Chalakudy River and it is approximately 80 feet in height. Its white spray of water appears almost magical from the rocky road that swerves around the mountain! Spend precious time at waterfall and later proceed to Munnar Enroute to Munnar visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own also you will be later taken to visit Tata Tea Museum & The Blossom Garden. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.

Day 4 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar

Day 5 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

Proceed to Thekkady in the morning after the breakfast; Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 6 : KUMARAKOM SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

In the morning after breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region.An enchanting backwater destination, Kumarakom offers visitors many other leisure options. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. The sightseeing options are, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures. In the lake, Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare migratory birds. Reach back to resort by evening and Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 7 : ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT STAY

After breakfast ,Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey.Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East.  Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region.  The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc..Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 8 : ALLAPPEY TO KOVALAM ,ENROUTE VISIT JATAYU NATURE PARK

Morning after breakfast  check out from Houseboat & proceed to Kovalam.Enroute visit Jatayu Park”, Kerala's Latest Tourist Addiction!  Jatayu Earth Centre gets its importance from the mythical bird Jatayu, in the epic Ramayana. This is the biggest bird sculpture in the world and situated at a height of 1000feet and spread around 65 acres. Adventure activities, cable cars and cultural programs add colour to this magnificent tourism spot. If you wish you can also enjoy 15 + exciting adventure activities at Jatayu Adventure Zone like Rock Climbing, Side Jhoola, Archery, Shooting, Cammando Net, Zip Lane etc (Own Cost). After Jatayu proceed  to  Kovalam. Check in to hotel and Late  visit  beach and relax for some time. Overnight stay at Kovalam

Day 9 : TRIVANDRUM CITY TOUR & KOVALAM STAY

After having your breakfast in hotel start exploring Kovalam!   Kovalam  is a favourite of tourists since the 1930s. Three beaches, the Light House Beach, The samudra Beach and The Sankamukam Beach or Eves Beach are the main attraction of this destination. Golden sand and long coastline makes it a place of visit for tourists from all walks of life. Light House beach is the most famous among them for its calmness and any age group person can swim in there without any fear! Also there is option to enjoy own cost Water Sports activities in Kovalam beach like Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Parasailing, Wind Surfing etc.  Afternoon proceed for City Tour of Trivandrum Thiruvananthapuram, commonly known by its former name Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala, located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. Thiruvananthapuram referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India". Local tour of Trivandrum includes Sri Padmanabhaswami Temple, Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace & Museum. Back to Kovalam by evening, relax at beach and overnight stay.

Day 10 : KANYAKUMARI SIGHTSEEING AND KOVALAM STAY

Check out from the resort after breakfast & proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari:- The only beach in the world where you can see the sunrise and sunset at the same point. It is Blessed by the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial is situated 100 meters from the shore. Ferry services are available on a regular basis to the Rock and there are two main structures Vivekananda and the Shripada Mandapam. There is a massive 133 feet statue of Saint Poet Thiruvalluvoor who is considered as one of the greatest Tamil poets in India. You will be visiting Amman Temple dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial where an urn containing the Mahatma's ashes are kept, the Vivekananda Memorial(own cost for boat) - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline.  Some of the other places to visit are Wax Museum. After sightseeing proceed back to Kovalam Overnight  stay at Kovalam after a hearty Dinner.

Day 11 : DEPART FROM TRIVANDRUM

After a hearty breakfast check out from Hotel and proceed to Trivandrum. If time permits do local shopping at Trivandrum later we will drop you at Airport as per your flight schedule. Tour Ends with sweet memories of your holidays in Kerala!
