Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL COCHIN & PROCEED TO MUNNAR VIA ATHIRAMPILLY WATERFALLS

On arrival at Cochin airport, after you have cleared your immigration and customs formalities, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to Munnar . Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best  hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and  fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji flowering once in 12 yearsOn the way to Munnar you will be stopped to enjoy the white spray of water from the beautiful waterfalls of Cheeyappara & Valara. Also you will be stopped at Karadippara view point, Tea Museum, The Blossom Garden etc overnight stay at Munnar

Day 2 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar

Day 3 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 4 : MADURAI SIGHTSEEING AND RAMESWARAM STAY

Check out from the hotel after a hearty breakfast and proceed to Rameswaram. En route visit Madurai. Meenakshi Amman Temple. Later proceed to Rameswaram. In the Hindu mythology Rameshwaram is considered a sacred place for the Hindus. Legends have it that Lord Rama built a bridge across the sea, from Rameshwaram, to rescue his consort Sita, from the clutches of the demon king, Ravana. Rameshwaram is known as the Varanasi of south India. Visit the historic places such as, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi and Pamban Bridge. Return to Hotel and overnight stay at Rameswaram.

Day 5 : RAMESWARAM TO KANYAKUMARI AND STAY

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari.   Kanyakumari, literally means the virgin, the cape owes its Indian name to Hindu mythology. Arrive at Kanyakumari and proceed for a sightseeing tour. At the Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. Significant landmarks include the Kumari Amman Temple dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial where an urn containing the Mahatma's ashes are kept, the Vivekananda Memorial - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline. Drive back to Kovalam after the tour. Overnight stay at. Kanyakumari.

Day 6 : KOVALAM SIGHTSEEING &TRIVANDRUM CITY TOUR AND KOVALAM STAY

The day is set for relaxation at Kovalam beach & City Tour of Trivandrum. First Half of the day enjoy Kovalam and beach side activities. Kovalam is breathtakingly beautiful and a haven of peace and tranquility, the idyllic tourist destination in Kerala.  Kovalam offers an excellent diversity with Kovalam beach to suit all desires and occasions. Kovalam has three beaches, Samudra Beach, Sankumukam Beach & Lighthouse Beach, separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach. Light House beach is the most famous among them for its calmness and any age group person can swim in there without any fear! Also there is option to enjoy own cost Water Sports activities in Kovalam beach like Snorkelling, Parasailing, Wind Surfing etc. Afternoon proceed for Trivandrum local tour. Thiruvananthapuram, commonly known by its former name Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala, located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland also referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India". Local tour of Trivandrum includes Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace & Museum & Sri padhmanabaswami temple visit.. Evening will take you back to Kovalam and visit beach and relax! Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7 : KOVALAM TO ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT VIA JATAYU PARK

Morning after breakfast  check out from the resort & proceed to Allappey   En route visit Jatayu Nature Park, the new born travel destination of Kerala. This park has been named after the mythical bird, Jatayu, who attempted to rescue Sita from Ravana. It is believed to be built on the exact spot where Jatayu fell post his fight with Ravana. Reach Jatayu and go to the top of Bird Sculpture, the world’s largest bird sculpture, in Cable Car . Also visit Rama Temple which is built just near to the Jatayu bird sculpture. Spend some time enjoying  at the Park . After then proceed for Allappey  Alleppey is famous for its lovely lakes, lagoons and the fresh water rivers. It’s known as the “Venice of the East” for its similarity to the Italian city, Alappuzha’s passion play with water has made it the hub of houseboats and beaches. Reach and check in to the Houseboat.  Board to the houseboat and begin the enchanting backwater cruise.   A cruise in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. Enjoy the lunch, tea snacks and dinner on board. Overnight stay at Alleppey Houseboat

Day 8 : COCHIN SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After a hearty breakfast check out from the Houseboat around 9AM and proceed to Cochin. Reach and check in to hotel. After fresh up Later proceed for Cochin Sightseeing. Cochin, the commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Cochin in Ernakulam is also known as “Queen of Arabian Sea” is one of the finest natural harbors in the World. This was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, and Dutch etc. Later check into hotel and  go for local sightseeing of Cochin where you can visit Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattanchery, Sata Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Dutch Palace, Jew Street, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church, Marine Drive.  Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9 : DEPART FROM COCHIN
