Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL KANYAKUMARI & STAY

After arriving at Kanyakumari railway station (Assistance on arrival), our representative will meet you and transfer you to Kanyakumari hotel after fresh up check out for sightseeing.   Kanyakumari, literally means the virgin, the cape owes its Indian name to Hindu mythology. Arrive at Kanyakumari and proceed for a sightseeing tour. At the Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. Significant landmarks include the Kumari Amman Temple dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial where an urn containing the Mahatma's ashes are kept, the Vivekananda Memorial - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline. Day 2 : TRIVANDRUM CITY TOUR AND KOVALAM STAY

The day is set for relaxation at Kovalam beach & City Tour of Trivandrum. First Half of the day enjoy Trivandrum and Kovalam  beach side activities Thiruvananthapuram, commonly known by its former name Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala, located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland also referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India". Local tour of Trivandrum includes Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace & Museum & Sri padhmanabaswami temple visit.. Evening will take you  to Kovalam and visit beach and relax! Enjoy own cost Water Sports in Kovalam like Snorkelling, Parasailing, Wind Surfing etc and play Cricket, Football, Discuss throw etc at beach!Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 3 : ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT STAY

Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East.  Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region.  The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc.. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 4 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast check out from the houseboat and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After having delightfull breakfast from Thekady resort proceed to Munnar .Enroute visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own also you will be later taken to visit Tata Tea Museum & The Blossom Garden. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.

Day 6 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar  

Day 7 : OOTY STAY

In the morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Ooty - the "Queen of Hill stations" nestled in the Nilgiri range and popularly known as Ooty, A Britisher Mr. John Sullivan discovered Ooty in 1821; the sheer grandeur of this romantic city is enough to drain anyone out. Reach by evening and check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at  Ooty

Day 8 : OOTY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Ooty - the "Queen of Hill stations" Ooty :-It is known as the queen of Hill stations. Otty was founded as a Summer resort during the British rule. Ooty is located at an elevation of 32240 m. Located in the Western Ghats it is a favourite destination for all sorts of tourists. The Nilgiri Mountain railways built by the Swiss engineers, is really a marvel of engineering. The ride in this train is from Conoor to Ooty and takes you through 208 curves, 16 tunnels and across 250 bridges before reaching Ooty and traversing a distance of 46 kms. Ooty Lake, Botanical Garden Doddabetta peak. Ooty is embedded with a lot of activities Some of the places to visit in Ooty are Doddabetta, a highest point in Ooty, Botanical Gardens, Ooty lake, Rose Garden, Wax Museum etc and evening free for shopping in Ooty, Ooty Toy Train etc. Back to resort &  overnight stay at Ooty.  

Day 9 : DEPART AT OOTY RAILWAY STATION

Early morning check out from hotel and proceed to railway station and drop.Board your train back with sweet memories of your holidays in Kerala & Ooty!
