Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL TRIVANDRUM AND STAY

Arrival at Trivandrum airport, after you have cleared your immigration and customs formalities, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to Trivandrum hotel. overnight stay at Trivandrum

Day 2 : TRIVANDRUM TO KANYAKUMARI & STAY

Start your pleasant day with visiting the most famous metropolitan city ‘Trivandrum” Thiruvananthapuram, commonly known by its former name Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala, located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. Thiruvananthapuram referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India". Local tour of Trivandrum includes Sri Padmanabhaswami Temple, Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace & Museum. Evening proceed to Kanyakumari.   Kanyakumari at the Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. Significant landmarks include the Kumari. You will be visiting Amman Temple dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial where an urn containing the Mahatma's ashes are kept, the Vivekananda Memorial(own cost for boat) - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline.  Some of the other places to visit are Wax Museum later  have a tasty dinner &Overnight stay at Kanyakumari

Day 3 : KANYAKUMARI TO KOVALAM VIA POOVAR ISLAND

Morning watch Sunrise and after a hearty breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kovalam. En route visit Poovar Island. Poovar is a small coastal, fisherman village about 60Km from Kanyakumari. This is a beautiful island which is surrounded by River called Neyyar. During heavy monsoon the river carry sand and mud and an Estuary is formed which become the present form of Poovar.  The river, which ends it flow at Arabian Sea, become wider and it appears to be a lake! Reach Poovar and enjoy boating in the beautiful Poovar Lake (own Cost). After Poovar visit proceed to Kovalam. Check in to hotel and later visit beach and relax. Overnight stay at Kovalam  

Day 4 : KOVALAM TO ALLAPPEY VIA JATAYU NATURE PARK

Morning sharp 8AM check out from resort and proceed to Alleppey, the district of immense natural beauty, Alleppey. En route visit Jatayu Nature Park, the new born travel destination of Kerala.(Optional Tour, Entry Fees own cost) This park has been named after the mythical bird, Jatayu, who attempted to rescue Sita from Ravana. It is believed to be built on the exact spot where Jatayu fell post his fight with Ravana. Reach Jatayu and go to the top of Bird Sculpture, the world’s largest bird sculpture, in Cable Car (own cost) . Also visit Rama Temple which is built just near to the Jatayu bird sculpture. Spend some time enjoying  at the Park. After enjoying Jatayu proceed to Alleppey. Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East.  Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region.  The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc.. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.  

Day 5 : ALLAPPEY TO THEKADY AND STAY

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 6 : THEKADY TO MUNNAR & STAY

After a hearty breakfast check out from the resort and proceed to Munnar. Munnar is lovely hill station in the southwestern state of Kerala, India. Munnar is situated around 1600 m above sea level in the Western Ghats range of mountains. Munnar provides a pleasant experience with cool weather throughout the year! Reach and check in to hotel, relax for a while and later visit places like Tata Tea Museum, The Blossom Garden, Water Theme Park (own Cost) and enjoy rides. Evening free for shopping. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.  

Day 7 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING AND STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar

Day 8 : MUNNAR TO COCHIN & DEPART

This is the last day of your trip in God’s Own Country! Have your breakfast in hotel and proceed to Cochin. Will drop you at airport on time. Board your flight to home back with sweet memories of your holidays in Kerala!
