Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT COCHIN & PROCEED TO MUNNAR & STAY

On arrival at Cochin airport after you have cleared your immigration and customs formalities, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to Munnar. Enroute visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own also you will be later taken to visit Tata Tea Museum & The Blossom Garden. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.

Day 2 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING & STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar  

Day 3 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING & STAY

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 4 : ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT & STAY

Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East.  Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region.  The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc.. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 5 : VISIT JATAYU PARK & TRIVANDRUM CITY & KOVALAM STAY

Morning after breakfast  check out from the resort & proceed to Kovalam. En route visit Jatayu Nature Park, the new born travel destination of Kerala. This park has been named after the mythical bird, Jatayu, who attempted to rescue Sita from Ravana. It is believed to be built on the exact spot where Jatayu fell post his fight with Ravana. Reach Jatayu and go to the top of Bird Sculpture, the world’s largest bird sculpture, in Cable Car . Also visit Rama Temple which is built just near to the Jatayu bird sculpture. Spend some time enjoying  at the Park . After Jatayu visit proceed to Thiruvananthapuram  Thiruvananthapuram literally means 'the abode of Anantha', the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, Trivandrum Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace By evening return back to Kovalam and proceed for Kovalam sightseeing Kovalam is breathtakingly beautiful and a haven of peace and tranquility, the idyllic tourist destination in Kerala.  Kovalam offers an excellent diversity with Kovalam beach to suit all desires and occasions. Kovalam has three beaches, Samudra Beach, Sankumukam Beach & Lighthouse Beach, separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach. Light House beach is the most famous among them for its calmness and any age group person can swim in there without any fear! Also there is option to enjoy own cost Water Sports activities in Kovalam beach like Snorkelling, Parasailing, Wind Surfing etc. overnight stay at Kovalam  

Day 6 : KANYAKUMARI DAY EXCURSION & KOVALAM STAY

Morning proceed for an excursion to Kanyakumari, literally means the virgin, the cape owes its Indian name to Hindu mythology. Arrive at Kanyakumari and proceed for a sightseeing tour. At the Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. Significant landmarks include the Kumari Amman Temple dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial where an urn containing the Mahatma's ashes are kept, the Vivekananda Memorial - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline. Drive back to Kovalam after the tour. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7 : DEPART FROM TRIVANDRUM

Check out from the resort and drive to Trivandrum airport. Board the flight to your onward destination feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the “God’s Own Country”. Our services end after dropping you at Trivandrum airport.
