Itinerary Detailes

Day 1 : ARRIVAL COCHIN & STAY

On arrival at Cochin airport after you have cleared your immigration and customs formalities, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to Cochin hotel. Cochin is the colonial name of Kochi, India, a major port city by the Arabian Sea on the southern part of India’s west coast. Kochi has been important spice trading center on the west coast of India, connecting the mainland to the rest of the world and known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.”  Visit Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattanchery, Sata Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Dutch Palace, Jew Street, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church, Marine Drive.  After sightseeing procced to hotel and overnight stay at cochin

Day 2 : COCHIN TO MUNNAR VIA ATHIRAMPILLY WATERFALLS & STAY

After having delightfull breakfast from Cochin resort check out and proceed to Munnar Enroute visit Athirapilly waterfalls one of the most important bio-diversity hotspot in the world. Arrive at Athirappally and enjoy the waterfalls, the 80ft cascade originate from the upper reaches of Western Ghats. Also you can enjoy the nearby Vazhachal waterfalls. Later proceed for a scenic drive to Munnar. Enroute visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is situated 1600 Meter above sea level. Once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own also you will be later taken to visit Tata Tea Museum & The Blossom Garden. Back to Hotel by evening and Overnight Stay at Munnar.

Day 3 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING & STAY

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season),Echo point,Photoshooting point. Munnar is also famous for Ayurveda Treatment and Massaging.Qualified physicians at the Ayurvedic treatment Centres provide a range of cures and treatments including sweat treatments, oil massages, yoga and meditation, Head, Face, Shoulder & Full Body massage at reasonable rates across Munnar.  Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Munnar    

Day 4 : THEKADY SIGHTSEEING & STAY

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world.This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel.You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance(Own cost) also visit the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5 : ALLAPPEY HOUSEBOAT STAY

Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Allappey :-Located on the other side of the Vembanad lake, lies this beautiful town otherwise called as the Venice of The East.  Coir making is a major cottage industry in the region.  The sun-dried fibres are then bundled into bales and later machine twisted to make ropes. Various other products like coir mattress, coir curtains, coir doormats, etc..Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise .While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 6 : ALLAPPEY SIGHTSEEING & STAY AT HOTEL

  Morning Have the delicious breakfast from Allappey Houseboat,check out & procced for sightseeing a of Alleppey Alleppey, the Venice of the east. Alleppey is Kerala’s major hub for houseboats. The ideal way to explore Alleppey, the land of placid lagoons and intricate canals is in a houseboat. Alleppey town is located on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Alappuzha Beach is another major attraction with a 19th-century lighthouse. Other key features of Alleppey is the world renowned annual snake boat race and the stunning architecture of Mullakkal Temple.  The places to Visit are Alleppey Beach, Town, Coir factory etc. Back to hotel and relax. Day 7 : DEPART FROM COCHIN
