Itinerary Detailes
On arrival at Colombo Airport our representative will greet you and pickup. Transfer to Colombo Hotel. Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has a long history as a port on ancient east-west trade routes, ruled successively by the Portuguese, Dutch and British. That heritage is reflected in its its architecture, mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls. The imposing Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history, borders sprawling Viharamahadevi Park and its giant Buddha. Check in to the hotel, Relax and overnight stay at Colombo Hotel.
Day 2 : COLOMBO TO DAMBULLA AND STAY
After a hearty breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Dambulla. Dambulla is a town, situated in the north of Matale District, Central Province of Sri Lanka, situated 148 km north-east of Colombo, 43 km north of Matale and 72 km north of Kandy. Due to its location at a major junction, it is the centre of vegetable distribution in the country. Reach and check in to hotel. Later visit Elephant Orphanage. After lunch visit to Dambulla Cave Temple and Sigiriya Fortress Rock. Back to hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Dambulla.
Day 3 : DAMBULLA SIGHTSEEING AND STAY
Have your hearty breakfast at hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Visit Polonnaruwa Ancient City which was Sri Lanka’s capital during 13th century. Also visit Wood Carving Factory Back to resort and Overnight stay.
Day 4 : DAMBULLA TO TRINCOMALEE AND STAY
Check out from hotel after a hearty breakfast and proceed to Trincomalee, Trincomalee, one of the finest natural deep-water harbours in the world is located 257 km north-east of Colombo, which is considered as the commercial hub of Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is home to the fine beaches of Nilaveli, Uppuveli and the off-shore Pigeon Island. Recently Trincomalee has become popular as a Whale Watching destination as well. The Dive centers at Nilaveli and Uppuveli offer tourists the opportunity to enjoy their holidays in diving, snorkeling and swimming. The Trincomalee district, referred as Gokanna or Gokarna in the historical chronicles and inscriptions, is studded with a multitude of ruins of ancient Buddhist temples and is considered a major Buddhist cultural and archaeological site of Sri Lanka. Reach and check in to hotel. Later visit Kinniya Seven Wells (Different Temperatures of water in different wells). Later visit to Pigeon Island. Back to resort & Overnight stay at Trincomalee
Day 5 : DAY FOR A LEISURE AT TRINCOMALEE
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and you can go to beach. The day is set for complete relaxation at Beach. Overnight stay at Trincomalee.
Day 6 : TRINCOMALEE TO JAFNA AND STAY
After enjoying the breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Jaffna. Jaffna is a city on the northern tip of Sri Lanka. Nallur Kandaswamy is a huge Hindu Temple with golden arches and an ornate Gopuram tower. By the coast, star-shaped Jaffna Fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and later occupied by the Dutch and British. Jaffna Public Library is a symbol of the city’s post-war regeneration. Jaffna Archaeological Museum has Dutch cannons and pre-colonial artifacts. Reach and check in to the hotel. Day 7 : EXPLORE JAFNA
After breakfast proceed to Nagartheevu (by boat). Visit Nallur Kandaswamyhindu Temple, Jafna Fort, Point Pedro, One end of Srilanka, The Elephant pass way memorials. Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Jafna.
Day 8 : JAFNA TO KANDY AND STAY
Check out from hotel after breakfast and proceed to Kandy. On the way visit Spice Garden and taste the Srilankan Fresh Fruits such as Pineapple & King Coconut ect. Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession. Reach and check in to hotel. Afternoon visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Gems and Jewellery Museum. Evening visit to Tooth Relic Temple of Daladamaligawa. Back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 9 : KANDY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY
After breakfast proceed Kandy City Tour. Visit Market, Lakeside Boat Riding, Hantana Temple & and visit Udawattakelle. Afternoon visit Gadaladeniya, Embacka Temples. Evening you will be taken to enjoy Srilankan Cultural Dancing. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Kandy.
Day 10 : KANDY TO NUWARA ELIYA AND STAY
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Nuwaraeliya (Little Englend). En route visit Tea Ffactory and taste the typical Sri Lankan Tea. Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. Reach and check in to hotel and relax for a while. Later visit the naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree ferns, and shelters monkeys and blue magpies. Nearby Seetha Amman Temple, a colorful Hindu shrine, is decorated with religious figures. Densely forested Galway's Land National Park is a sanctuary for endemic and migratory bird species, including bulbuls and flycatchers.. Overnight stay at Nuwara eleiya.
Day 11 : NUWARA ELIYA TO TISSAMAHARAMA
Enjoy the breakfast and check out from hotel. Proceed to Tissamaharama. On the way visit Ravana Waterfalls.Reach and check in to hotel. Tissamaharama is a town in Hambantota District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka. Evening visit Kataragama Temple and attend the Poojahs. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Tissamaharama
Day 12 : TISSAMAHARAMA TO BENTOTA AND STAY
Early morning visit YALA National Park of Tissamaharama. After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Bentota. On the way see stick fishing, Galle Dutch Fort, Unawatuna Beach. Also en route visit Turtle Farm. Later proceed to Bentota. Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, centuries-old Galapota Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa. Northeast is his brother Bevis's Brief Garden. Day 13 : A DAY FOR LEISURE AT BENTOTA BEACH
After a hearty breakast proceed for Madu River Excursion. Enjoy the Sun Set. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Bentota
Day 14 : BENTOTA TO COLOMBO AND STAY
After breakfast proceed to Colombo. Reach and check in to hotel. Relax for a while and later will take you for City tour of Colombo. Visit Gangarama Temple, Bmich, Old Parliamnet, Old Dutch Museum & Dehiwala Zoo. Back to hotel. Evening go for a city walk. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Colombo.
Day 15 : FLY BACK HOME FROM COLOMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
