Itinerary Detailes
Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT CALICUT AND PROCEED TO WAYANAD & STAY
On arrival at Calicut Railway Station/ Airport in the morning our representative will be greet you and pick you up & Proceed to Wayanad.
Wayanad is a rural district in Kerala state, southwest India. In the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age.
En route visit Pookode lake, Banasura Sagar Dam & Meemutti Waterfalls. Reach and check in to the hotel and retire for the day. Overnight stay at Wayanadu.
Day 2 : WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING & STAY
Enjoy the breakfast at resort and we will take you for the days sightseeing. Today you can visit Kuruwa Island – Kuruva Island is a vast island of 950 acres abundantly rich with green forest also visit Tholpetty wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary has a wide variety of wild animals. Have a nice Jeep safari (own cost)in this sanctuary. Later visit Tirunelli Temple. Back to resort by evening & overnight Stay
Day 3 : WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING AND PROCCED TO OOTY AND STAY
In the morning after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for remaining sightseeing in wayanad. Visit Edakkal caves Edakkal caves are pre-historic caves lies 12km from SulthanBathery Two caves are located at a height of 1000 m on Ambukutty Mala near Ambalavayal.The New Stone Age pictorical writings on the walls of these natural caves at Edakkal are evidence of the civilisation that existed in these regions in pre-historical times. Heritage Museum & Soochipara waterfalls, It is a three-step waterfall of more than 200 ms in height with a fantastic scenery. After sightseeing proceed to Ooty, reach and check in to the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 4 : OOTY SIGHTSEEING AND STAY
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Ooty - the "Queen of Hill stations"
Ooty :-It is known as the queen of Hill stations. Otty was founded as a Summer resort during the British rule. Ooty is located at an elevation of 32240 m. Located in the Western Ghats it is a favourite destination for all sorts of tourists. The Nilgiri Mountain railways built by the Swiss engineers, is really a marvel of engineering. The ride in this train is from Conoor to Ooty and takes you through 208 curves, 16 tunnels and across 250 bridges before reaching Ooty and traversing a distance of 46 kms. Ooty Lake, Botanical Garden Doddabetta peak. Ooty is embedded with a lot of activities
Some of the places to visit in Ooty are Doddabetta, a highest point in Ooty, Botanical Gardens, Ooty lake, Rose Garden, Wax Museum etc and evening free for shopping in Ooty, Ooty Toy Train etc. Back to resort & overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 5 : COONOR SIGHTSEEING & OOTY STAY
After breakfast proceed for Coonor sightseeing. Coonoor is a hill station in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for its tea estates in the surrounding Nilgiri hills. Sim’s Park is a sprawling public garden with plants like rhododendrons, roses and eucalyptus trees. The steam Nilgiri Mountain Railway travels between the towns of Mettupalayam and Ooty via Coonor. Dolphin’s Nose is a vantage point with views of the cascading Catherine Falls.
Some of the places you will be taken to Visit in Conoor are Lambs Rock, Tea Gardens, Sims Park andDolphin Nose at Coonoor. Back to Oot hotel and overnight stay.
Day 6 : DEPART FROM COIMBATORE
Check out from hotel after a hearty breakfast and proceed to Coimbatore. The drive from Ooty to Coimbatore is one of the most picturesque drive which anyone must love. The highway is one of the best roads in India, running through one of the most picture perfect landscapes. Drop at Coimbatore Airport/Railway Station on time.Board your flight/train back home with sweet memories of your holidays in Karnataka & Tamilnadu.
